Luigi Cattaneo

Luigi Cattaneo, born in Rapallo in 1969 but raised in Milan, after graduating in economics and commerce in Pavia, he moved first to Ireland and then to Spain in order to deepen his knowledge in business administration and, in particular, in finance and insurance working for some important companies in the sector.

His interests now range from fashion to real estate and he is a shareholder and director of a number of companies including Compass Srl, the company that acquired Omicron.

His investments are long term and certainly not speculative; the operation in Omicron must be interpreted in this context.

The ICT sector has always been at the heart of Mr Cattaneo’s interests, and that is why he has definitely put himself on the line, taking on the role of chairman of the company.

Two personal details: he is married to Caterina and has two children. He loves to travel and is a marathon runner.
